Asya works as an operating room nurse and takes care of her younger sister and mother. She falls in love with a colleague, a talented surgeon Igor, and breaks up with her boyfriend. He is still looking for a meeting with her, and after another explanation the guy is found dead. Suspicion falls on Asya, who cannot reveal her alibi because she was with Igor that night. Nobody knows about their relationship - Igor is married. To save Asya, he is ready to confess, but he understands that this will only make things worse, because his wife has been appointed prosecutor in the case.
