"Nightshade and Old Lace Theatre" was originally, a non hosted horror movie show on WMTV Channel 15, Madison, Wisconsin. Jack Crowley sought sponsorship from Ferd Mattioli. Crowley commenced hosting the show as Ferdy. By late 1964 / early 1965 changed name to "Ferdie's Inferno (1964)". The show under the new title, would continue till 1968/1969; Carl Ames replacing Crowley in 1967/1968 as "Ferdy".
