New York Decalogue is a quiet observation of what New Yorkers are like behind closed doors, the disaffection, loneliness, and urban isolation. Deca, which means ten, is the number of chapters in which the film explores the wrought, and often-wordless encounters of New Yorkers unknowingly connections to one another.
