Never Better tells the story of three young people struggling to enter the creative industries in London. Laurence is about to finish art school but has little inspiration. Olivia is putting the 'free' in freelance, and Dylan is fresh off the plane from NYC, promoting her first movie franchise.

Success-hungry Olivia has dropped out of art school in search of a career, any career. Laurence, in desperate need of a haircut, is preparing his degree show with trouble finding inspiration, but first he must finish a 1000 piece puzzle. Dylan is a rising starlet, fresh off the plane from New York and promoting her first action-franchise in London, but none of the dresses her stylist has given her fit. Amidst taxidermy, auctions, galleries, canal boats, hotel rooms and parties, the three try and navigate the art world without losing themselves in the throng. In a city where the sun never shines, a crucial week in the lives of these three young people will mark their transition to adulthood.
