Synopsis

During World War II, Bulgaria is invaded by Nazi Germany but things are not going so well, as Communist pressure is growing bigger and bigger. While "Police organization" is regarded as ruling power during that time, it is clear that USSR backed Communist guerrillas are about to take control. Of course, this production is produced under heavy communist propaganda, that's why one can easily see the difference between corrupt, pragmatic, self-seeking, unskillful, ignorant police force and well organized, cool, merciful guerrillas. But the main issue here is, if you are about to watch or watching this TV series, you'll not only enjoy the most prominent actors of Bulgarian Cinema, but also you'll burst in laughs while these actors improvising perfectly in most of their scenes.

A police squad, lead by an old and very corrupt yet an "old fox" sergeant (performed brilliantly by Georgi Kaloyanchev), has given a task to suppress the Communist movement in a remote village in Bulgaria, during the war. The squad is settled in the school and trying to take control of the village, taking orders directly from the Police Officer (Todor Kolev in this case). The police force is making an identification of the whole village and everything seems going well. But things are about to turn upside down, since it turns out that all the members of the police squat are in fact, a bunch of incapable selfish men.

Long story short, Socialist Bulgarian power is giving lesson to the nation's children, that Fascism is bad and cruel from the very hand of his veteran actors.
