As the Nazis rise to power, a Greek music student arrives in 1936 Berlin and becomes a cabaret singer. When WWII breaks out in Europe, the successful performer must decide whether to pursue her dreams or join the Resistance to do her part.

Nazi-ruled Berlin, 1936. Nelly, a struggling music student from Greece, finds herself in a strange land, trying to make ends meet. But fate intervenes when she meets Willi Foster, a kind-hearted cabaret performer who takes the aspiring singer under his wing and helps her rise to fame. As things start to look up, a mysterious young author named Brian Roberts enters the picture, and Nelly's life takes an unexpected turn. Soon, WWII breaks out in Europe, and Nelly is at a crossroads. Will she pursue her artistic aspirations or join the Resistance to do her part in the war effort, whatever the cost?—Nick Riganas
