Joël is jealous and violent. After one crisis too many, Nicole, his young wife, returns to live with her parents with their three-year-old son. Joël hangs on, begs, threatens. One day, he kidnaps the little boy.

It is the story of two couples. That of a young couple, Joël and Nicole, whose stormy relations will reveal and bring to light the much deeper wounds of the couple formed by the parents of Nicole, Francis and Edith. Francis, an artist who has devoted himself more to his work than to his family, will try to reconnect with his daughter, imagining that there is still a ground where we can plant something, because with his wife, and despite the feelings he has for her, it seems there is not much left to do. But Joël hangs on, begs, threatens. And one day he kidnaps the little boy.
