The story is about Takeuchi Shinobu, a curious and energetic elementary school teacher who is never one to let herself be outdone by her students. Set at the fictitious Ooji Elementary School in Osaka, the newly transferred temporary instructor who loves mystery novels and hates dishonesty, together with her lively students, often helps the local police detectives with difficult cases.
