A race against time to save planet Earth, one seed at a time. A group of children inspired by a workshop come together to create a forest in the middle of a city.
Namma Aranya Pradesha is inspired by a speech given by our PM Narendra Modiji on April 6th, 2015, at the State Environment and Forest Ministers Conference. The film tells the story of a group of children who attend a summer theatre workshop in 2015. They decide to stage a performance to raise awareness about climate change. During their workshop, they begin to question the impact of our decisions on future generations of both humans and non-humans as they learn about past man-made disasters. They establish THE SEED CLUB to plant trees and create mini-forests in Bangalore. The children face numerous challenges and decide to seek the assistance of Modi uncle. They write him a letter in the hope that he will mention their campaign on his show, "Mann ki Baat".—Puja Goyal
