An archaeologist loses life to protect a map from a rival. In the journey to unlock the mysteries of the map, his two sons overcome death-defying obstacles.
Bhagwan Shri Kishan had predicted that the Kalyug (Dark Age - where evil will triumph over good) will start after the battle of the Kurkshetra - the epic war between Kauravas and their cousins the Pandavas. Sage Vyas had verbally dictated the Bhagwad Geeta, while Bhagwan Shri Ganesh wrote it, which included a little-known chapter - about Surya Dev's son, Karan, who though sired by Pandavas mother, Kunti herself, had fought on the side of the Kauravas. He adorned a body armor that no arrow or spear could pierce rendering himself virtually immortal. This itself could have changed the course of history and resulted in the annihilation of the Pandavas - until Bhagwan Shri Indra himself intervened and got Karan to donate this armor, which was then safely buried in the Uttaranchal mountains in India. With the body armor out of the way, the Pandavas were able to slay Karan and defeat the Kaurava hordes. Years later, Kapil Malhotra came across a map to this armor, which he wanted to be kept secret, but Baali, his assistant, wanted it for himself, so that he could rule the world. Rather than surrender the map to Baali, Kapil kills himself by jumping off a cliff, leaving behind a divorced wife and son, Veer; and his present wife with a son named Vicky. 20 years later, Vicky, while he attempts to sell their ancestral property near Kishanganj, comes across a copy of the real map - leading to a chain of events that would re-unite the Malhotra brothers, with Baali eventually getting his hands on the much coveted armor - becoming the most powerful human on Earth, unstoppable - with no one capable of killing him.—rAjOo ([email protected])

The story begins with the search of an archaeologist named Kapil Malhotra to who has an ancient map, which leads to the Armour of Karna taken by Indra in the epic story Mahabharata. Years later after Acharya's death, his son Vicky, aided by a copy of the same map that he comes across by chance, leaves on a journey to discover what it was that his father dedicated his life in searching. The re-emergence of this quest attracts the evil forces, as Vicky is abducted. Help comes in the guise of Vicky's elder step-brother Veer, who is sent there by Vicky's mother to get Vicky back. Vicky is grateful to be rescued but not pleased about his brother's mission to take him back. Now starts a hilarious tug of war between the two brothers. Along this journey through the dense forests, high mountains and deep ravines, they encounter one more ally,a girl named Ria. Pursued by the forces of darkness, this trio sets off on the journey to unravel the mystery behind the map and here unfolds an adventure. Youngster Vicky Malhotra (Vivek Oberoi) lives with his mother (Navni Parihar). A lawyer shows up to speak with his mother about her late husband's old bungalow in the Uttarakhand hills. The bungalow is up for sale and the lawyer wants Vicky to get it cleaned up before the buyer inspection. Vicky is dating Riya (Sameera Reddy)..Many yrs ago, Vicky's dad Kapil Malhotra was killed by a rival archaeologist named Baali (Jackie Shroff), who was looking for a map that held the secret to an unknown power. But instead of handing over the map, Kapil decided to burn it and jump over a cliff to thwart Baali and save future generations from his evil designs)
Vicky arrives at the bungalow and discovers a secret cache behind one of the photographs. And in the cache lies a replica of a map, made by his father who was once killed unlocking a mystery of treasure. Vicky is intrigued and decides to unravel this mystery. He travels to Kurukshetra, a location which is referred to multiple times in the map and in the notes alongside it.Eventually, some of his father's murderers discover Vicky, and abduct him. While thugs bring Vicky to Bali (Jackie Shroff).
In the meantime, Vicky's mother visits her husband's first wife (Suhasini Mulay). Her husband's son by this wife, Veer Malhotra (Sunny Deol), is a forest officer in Uttarakhand. Veer is Vicky's step-brother. Vicky's mother requests Veer's mother to seek Veer's assistance in finding Vicky and bringing him back.As Baali is about to have Vicky executed, Veer drops in and rescues Vicky. Veer wants to take Vicky home, but Vicky wont leave without solving the puzzle of the map. Vicky causes an accident of Veer's jeep and both are stranded on foot in the jungles. Determined to obtain the map at any cost, Baali's men give chase to Veer and Vicky: the chase takes them through the dense jungles of Uttarakhand to the foothills of the Himalayas.
They rescue Riya (Sameera Reddy) (Completely randomly.. there is no back story on why Riya is in the middle of the jungle, alone on a river raft) from a river rafting accident. Veer and Vicky are captured by Pygmies and looking at their shields, Vickey finds a symbol that was on the map. Vicky finds that Kapil had been through this village as well. Veer is convinced that Vicky is on a quest and decides to help him.The next morning, Baali and his men capture Veer and Vicky, and slaughter the pygmies. Baali reveals that the map describes the location of a powerful device: the amour and earrings of the historical warrior Karna (of the Mahabharata). After taking the amour from Karan, Indra hid them inside a cave in the Himalayas. This amour will make the wearer invincible and all-powerful.
Veer and Vicky escape. They arrive at the final destination, after following the trail of the map (which Vicky remembers from memory). They find a temple, where they the location of the final cave (on Om mountain, which is hidden behind the icy, snow clad mountains of the Himalayas)They find that Baali has beaten them to it (Baali had to solve a word puzzle and he sacrificed his men to guess the right answer, whereas Vicky and Veer have to solve it as they cant afford to die). Endowed with divine strength, the evil Baali easily overpowers them and prepares to kill them. Veer and Vicky exploit the flaw (that the amour needs sunlight for its powers, which are lost at sunset. Based on the historical fact that the sun God is the father of Karna) to defeat Baali and restore the amour. They escape the temple just in time before it comes crashing down, thus sealing it off forever.
