Synopsis

After meeting with his girlfriend, Jill, Adam walks home for the evening leaving Jill to finish her break from work by her self. He settles in for the night and all seems content, until he is abducted in his own home. When Adam finds out who his abductor is, he can't believe his own eyes.

As he pleads for his life and release, his abductor, Jason, tries to help Adam understand why he is in the position he is in, through discomfort, torture and pain. Adam stays strong and defiant, but so does Jason. When all is revealed, they will both be free of their pain.

History: How the project was conceived.

Nailed Down was conceived from series of thoughts emotions rattling my head. My family and I had a dealing with a bad trust situation. Anyone that knows me, trust is a big thing with me. So having someone close betray my/our trust is huge. All these thoughts went through my head as anyone else might, the difference here, I wrote them down into a story. Now the situation in this script is different and more realistic as to why things happen in this movie, but the same intensity is here. This script helped me a lot.

Now, writing a script and making a movie, though two totally different creative intricacies, when writing a script or a book even, you are a director. So I thought "why can't I do this" and so I set forth to do just that. It is a bigger undertaking than I thought, but not one I will let just float away. I have hopes for this film when completed, what proud parent of a child doesn't. I am just glad that I have a good crew and cast set behind me on this.After seeing such movies and the Strangers and the Collector and the love I have for films like Silence of the Lambs, I see there might be a place for me somewhere and I have an idea it begins with Nailed Down!
