Bhagyalaxmi is hired by the mother of Rangamani, a rich zamindar, to educate and groom him so that he can manage his estate. Though Rangamani troubles her, she develops feelings for him.

A self centred egoistic village zamindar who makes fun of people, is rude by nature and brash tries to accommodate a teacher who comes to his village in search of work. How she gets to understand him, how he reacts and how his uncle's daughter who initially adversely reacts to his tantrums reacts towards the end is the story. In short it is a triple edged love story with truth, passion and emotions galore.
