Two young skaters, polar opposites in personality, team up to train for a figure skating duo, their growing bond blurring the lines between partners and more as winter unfolds.
In a snowy rural town, Takuya, a boy with a husky voice who is no good at hockey, falls in love with Sakura, a girl who practices figure skating to Debussy's "Clair de Lune." One day, Sakura's coach, former figure skater Arakawa, sees Takuya imitating figure skate steps while still in hockey shoes, falling over and over again. Deciding to support Takuya's love, Arakawa lends him his figure skates and accompanies him in practice. Eventually, at Arakawa's suggestion, Takuya and Sakura start practicing ice dancing as a pair.
