Leningrad, the end of the first siege winter of 1941/42. Boris Korbut, who worked as a choreographer at the Palace of Pioneers before the war, arrives in the city with the task of the political department to assemble a dance group for an agitation platoon. He does not find adult dancers, but on the street he encounters one of his former students. Then Korbut searches for other surviving members of the ensemble. Rehearsals are painful, but soon the teenagers give the first concert in front of the soldiers who returned from the front line.—Peter-Patrick76 ([email protected])
