Andrew Clements is a 14-year-old with a typical, ordinary life. However, while looking for his scientist friend, Benjamin Jeffcoate, he trips on something and before he could hit the ground, a giant radiation beam hits him, causing him to develop a steel body. Also, he finds he has the power to fly & to run at superman's speed. He eventually develops super strength which he uses to fight crime the best he can.—<[email protected]>
