Synopsis

The movie begins with a 45-year-old man Won-sool with cerebral palsy whose life is difficult as he is abused and taken advantage of, due to his condition. His daughter Jaya loves her father despite his flaws and looks after him. A certain incident takes place where her father tries to set up a stall to sell his products, but a woman says he needs a permit to do that. This ends up causing a scuffle between the woman, her associate, with Jaya and her father.

They are all taken to the police station and while charges are not filed, the police officer warns that they all should be more careful next time. Won-sool tries to do his best for his daughter's sake, however unbeknownst to him, his daughter has been going through a lot at school. While initially she makes friends and finds common ground with another female student, she is unknowingly targeted by the queen bee of their school.

Jaya befriends a male student who apparently has taken a liking to her as well. Later on, she is lured to a house with the girls who had been bullying her along with some other male students, who ambush and sexually assault her. The female student that she befriended does nothing and only watches in horror as it happens, she later is shown traumatized afterwards. Jaya is forced by them to keep quiet and to do their bidding during that time.

Over the next few weeks, Jaya is repeatedly abused and forced to prostitute herself for her bullies to make money. Jaya becomes more and more depressed about her situation, but does not tell her father anything. Eventually, Jaya having enough, jumps off a building and onto a car that kills her instantly.

Won-sool learns about his daughter's death and is left grief stricken as he had no idea that Jaya was suicidal. While the girls and the boys who abused and bullied her are un-remorseful and are more concerned about what the police will do if they find out about what they did to Jaya. The female classmate who was Jaya's friend is unsure of what to do, but nonetheless follows the bully's orders.

Meanwhile, Won-sool embarks on a quest to find out what had happened to his daughter and eventually finds his daughter's diary. To his shock, he learns what Jaya had gone through and how he was unaware of her suffering. He takes the diary to the school board and to the police, but both refuse to do anything as the diary is only circumstantial evidence. Angered that no one is willing to help him get justice for his daughter, he decides to take matters into his own hands.

He decides to go after the ones that ruined and ended his daughter's life. Jaya's bullies are shown talking to the female classmate who befriended Jaya, as they told her to cover up the details of their bullying. However for the first time in the movie she defies them, but they only find it hilarious that she was trying to act tough. Suddenly, Won-sool appears holding a bottle and proceeds to splash the liquid onto the bullies faces, while yelling "apologize" at them. The female classmate is left horrified as the bullies are screaming and wailing in pain.

Later, the male classmate who befriended and betrayed Jaya learns from the news about what happened to the bullies and tries to call his friends. But to his confusion they do not answer and he heads to his motorcycle, suddenly he is ambushed by a masked assailant and kidnapped. He awakens to find himself in a room with the other boys who assaulted Jaya earlier in the movie. The masked man reveals himself to be Won-sool, Jaya's father, terrified the boys start to turn on one another.

The boys start blaming the other for orchestrating the assault as well as describing what they did to Jaya, to a horrified Won-sool in graphic detail. Won-sool enraged by what they did to his daughter, proceeds to kill them one by one with a leg from a mannequin. However one of the boys manages to escape, but Won-sool chases him down and drowns him in some muddy water.

Finally, Won-sool takes the boy who lured Jaya to the assault onto his boat and sails out onto a nearby lake. He proceeds to latch a fishhook onto his mouth and throws him overboard to drown. Won-sool then reminisces about his daughter and their happy times together, before jumping into the lake himself. The final scene shows Won-sool's sailboat floating with his shoes and the screen fades to black. (Courtesy of Wikipedia)
