Abused by his relatives, a young boy seeks the help of a truck-driver's wife, and Bhagwan Shri Ganeshji.

After the passing of his parents, wealthy Ganesh is looked after by his maternal uncle, Nageshwar, and his wife, Chandramukhi. They abuse him both physically and emotionally while collecting a princely monthly allowance from Advocate Kanchan. Ganesh runs away one day and is adopted by Marathi-speaking Gangu, who is married to a Punjabi-speaking truck-driver, Shamshir Mann. Nageshwar and his brother-in-law, Bala, with the assistance of a local goon, Shivdhar Pandurang Kamble, locate Ganesh and bring him back home.
