Teenager Hallie Richmond is the daughter of the current US President George Richmond. She's tired of living a life she never asked to have and wants to do something normal for a change like go on a date. After sneaking away from the Secret Service to go explore a mall, she chances to meet Duncan Fletcher, an average looking but awkward, shy and nerdy boy who likes magic tricks and is looking for a date for his school dance that night. Not knowing who she is, he impulsively asks her to be his date, which she eagerly accepts. What was supposed to be a simple date soon turns into a night full of adventure that neither of them will ever forget, and neither will everyone involved in the fiasco.—joeyhubb
