Summaries

A family comedy in which a troubled ex-con finds his better self through the love of his young children.

When Joe Barring's ex-girlfriend dies, Joe is entrusted with the lives of three young children (ages 1, 3 and 5). Joe is hardly ready to meet the demands of fatherhood. He drinks too much, fights too much and fools around with too many women. No matter though, because Joe's tough-talking mother forces Joe to take the kids anyway. Under the watchful eye of a social worker, Joe does everything in his power to prove that he is a misfit parent in hopes that the kids will be transferred to a "better" home. The problem is that Joe's plan works. When the kids are taken away, Joe realizes how much he's grown attached to them. Somehow the kids have managed to turn Joe's life around, reforming him from one bad man into one baaaaad dad.—M. Polhemus
