No one wants the journeyman's services and like even the greatest players, Will is replaced by someone stronger, faster, and above all - younger. Being a Heisman Trophy candidate and a first round pick has given Will a decent ego, which was kept somewhat in-check over his career due to injuries, coaching changes, bad teams - but mostly by his wife, Tracy, and more recently their daughter Angel.
