Mushroom Seekers is a first-person journey of an American woman through wild mushroom experiences in the Czech Republic, where finding and eating mushrooms is called the national pastime; the U.S., where picking and using wild mushrooms is still considered somewhat esoteric and best done with some guidance from 'experts'; and Oaxaca, Mexico, where sacred practices in mushroom use are thousands of years old.
