A Police Lieutenant is assigned by his Captain to go undercover to wipe out a group of gangsters terrorizing a city for control of the lottery in the 'Little Italy" section of a large, eastern city. His daughter is killed by the mobsters, after which his wife leaves him. He persists in his assignment until the gang is rounded up, and he and his wife are re-united. A lot of scenes feature Italian-spoken dialogue, with no sub-titles. If this film was made today it would go straight to DVD, in the hopes that someone would mistake it for some other film and buy it.—Les Adams <[email protected]>
