In 1944 Soviet-liberated Muransk, militiawomen fight robberies by fugitive Yuza's gang while husbands serve.

The film takes place in 1944 in a small town called Muransk. After the Soviet troops liberated these places from the Germans, the bandits went out to fish. In particular, a criminal group led by fugitive recidivist Yuza brazenly robs people, feeling unpunished. Young and fragile employees of the local militia department, which residents call 'mur-mur': Mariana, Agatha, Sasha and Oksana, come out to fight bandits.
