A story of four Hanoi students named Hoang, Thanh, Thang, Long, who ceased their studying at university to join the army, fighting on the bloody Quang Tri battlefield in 1971. Although these four young soldiers had different personalities: romantic, naughty, composed and light-hearted, they all determined to give up their youth for the cause of national liberation.—Emma Le
