As a child Munya was raised by a mother who survived by witchcraft. Following the mysterious death of his younger brother, his father blamed the mother for the death and walked out of the marriage. As a consequence, Munya took the cloths the mother used in her craft and threw them in a river. Years later, Munya is haunted by his past as he is obliged to find peace in order to free his family. Shupikai and her brother Muneyi finds some mysterious cloths at a river. A witch doctor convinces the father to use the cloths on Shupikai in order for him to make money. But this plan goes awry as Shupikai seeks refuge at a mission. This makes her father more dangerous and motivated in his quest for wealth.
