A documentary about Susi from East Berlin leaving home to find the 'Highlander'. A film about the gap between dream and reality and why this makes life precious. Susi dreamed of the Highlander throughout her teenage years: of Christopher Lambert playing the role of Connor Macleod. Finally she migrated to Scotland and found him: today she is Mrs. Macleod, seasoned wife and mother of three. But at the wedding a tragedy occurred. Amongst the guests: Anne, Susi's best friend from East Berlin and I being the wedding photographer. The three of us have been friends since primary school. With honesty and full of humour I am telling the story of Susi's search for the Highlander and tracing back the impact our friendship has made upon us.—Anonymous
