A con artist in 1950s India uses clever schemes to steal from the rich, earning the nickname "Mr. Natwarlal." Though impossible to catch, his risky lifestyle endangers his freedom.
An engineer from a village Ranga, faces a lot of failures in his life. At a point where he reaches the bottom of his life, he decides to take the path of non violent crimes to cheat wealthy people, make money and also provide for the downtrodden. He purchases a book of "Mr.Natwarlal (1912-2009) - The greatest con artist of India" online written by Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava (known by the name Natwarlal). Using his techniques Ranga starts finding weakness and dark secrets of wealthy people and starts blackmailing them for huge ransoms... One such extremely wealthy and influential person is a fake doctor (Shettappa) running an IVF hospital illegally. Ranga wants to bring an end to this and gets on to the doctor's case. Shettappa pulls strings in the Police department to eliminate Ranga and pays the cops to kill him. The cops mistakenly kills Ranga's girlfriend and her brother. In a fit of rage and revenge Ranga kills Shettappa and the police officer who pulled the trigger on his girlfriend. The news gains traction and a special officer Alok Kumar is appointed to solve the murder. During the course of his investigation, Alok Kumar discovers the modes operate of the killer and also links this case to other unsolved cases. He studies the other cases and finds a stark resemblance between the operations of the original Mr.Natwarlal and his suspect. He begins to look for people who might have purchased the book online.During this investigation he comes across an unidentified fingerprint in one of the delivery notes. On further investigation he manages to trace it back to Prakash a close aide of Ranga. In a dramatic sequence, Alok manages to take Prakash into custody. Prakash is a very strong person and no kid of torture yields any answers.
