A documentary series in four parts which tells the stories of modern, young Easterners in Vietnam.

This documentary series travels to modern Vietnam to tell the stories of four different young Vietnamese people and their thoughts about the present and future of their country. One is a fashion designer with Western ideas about designs, another is a police agent-turned-artist, the third is a photographer with a taste for the aesthetics of the body, and the last one is a DJ of techno music. They speak of the duality between Eastern belongings and Western inspirations and of the difficulties of living in a Communist regime.—Peter Brandt Nielsen
