Something is wrong in the forest. And perhaps, for Safir, finding out what it is will come with a terrible cost.
Verona, Italy. In the blistering heat of a dark basement, a dusty shoe box is discovered. Inside is an old Super 8 film reel featuring black and white footage of an enormous, unknown animal. This is the only legacy left by Paolo Laurana, who disappeared in the 1960s at the age of thirty, a fate that thirty years later also befell his son Gianni. Their nephew Safir starts following their tracks, and after chasing a sixty-year-old lead arrives at an abandoned house in a small mountain village surrounded by vineyards. When Safir finds Anna inside the house things take a turn for the worse: is she the key to unlocking the truth or has he just walked into the wolf's lair? In order to find out what really happened to his grandfathers and what connects them to the sinister video, Safir must unravel an old web of dead ends, fading memories, and folk tales. But these violent obsessions have violent ends.
