An eleven-year-old girl, living in Edinburgh, Scotland, hates her Christian name, Kylie. She prefers to be called "Morticia" And she wants a real dad she can identify with. She wants Dracula...and she wants to be a vampire.

An eleven-year-old girl, living in the ancient, creepy, gothic city of Edinburgh, Scotland, was never comfortable with her Christian name, Kylie. She much preferred to be called 'Morticia' - meaning death, because she is so alienated from her parents, her environment, her school, and her peers. She grew up much too fast, probably because of 'the dirty vicar'. Her dad was a soldier sent to Iraq and has come home mutilated. And now all Morticia wants is revenge. And she wants a real dad she can identify with. She wants Dracula...and she wants to be a vampire. This film is probably not suitable for children below 15 (even though a child of eleven years played the leading the role).—Nabil Shaban
