When actor Julian Lorraine comes home one day to find his wife, Viola, in the company of Vincent Grant. Years pass, Julian marries Josephine, and Viola recovers both her memory and her child. When Vincent threatens harm to the girl unless Viola marries him, she takes Ruth back to Julian.
