Moonrocks follows a young stoner and his friends, a gang of tough inner city kids who make an unlikely alliance with an alien to defend their planet against an invasion of savage alien creatures.

Tabub is a tough-as-nails cop from Makara 3 a distant planet in a galaxy far away. During a sting operation to capture a drug kingpin named Gordanir, Tabub's partner S'Pegg is killed. Tabub embarks on a pursuit chasing Gordanir off the planet. During the chase, they are eaten by portal worms and shot out toward Earth galaxies away from home. Griffin is a lovable stoner and a brilliant botanist coming home to celebrate his graduation at his friends' house. During the party, they run out of weed and party supplies. Losing a bet Griffin and his buddy Will have to go on the supply run to stock back up. On the way back to the party Gordanir's ship crashes in a park near them leaving a fiery wreck. Will goes to investigate for his social media account and is pulled into the ship leaving Griffin alone. But, In the wreckage, something is stirring. Something that hungers, hungers for a new drug found in stoner's brains. Will Griffin and his friends be able to protect the stoners of the earth?
