In 1983, adversaries Zephyr and Gordie clashed over Moon Valley's citizens' life force. After Gordie's victory, Zephyr retreated. Five years later, Zephyr resurfaces. Gordie, now unfit to fight, must train successor to defeat Zephyr.

In 1983, archrivals Zephyr and Gordie concluded a long battle over the fate of the citizens of Moon Valley. While Zephyr had been fighting to steal the people's life force to feed his own power, the people's protector Gordie, had been fighting for the citizens' freedom to retain it. After Gordie's hard-fought victory which also left his life force depleted, Zephyr was thought to have been eliminated. However, Zephyr merely manipulated his physical form and retreated to fight another day. Now, five years later, Gordie's oracle Sonya has alerted him that Zephyr has unexpectedly emerged from his slumber and is back on the prowl to complete his takeover of Moon Valley. Since Gordie is no longer fit to win the final battle with Zephyr, there is only one option to defeat Zephyr once and for all. Gordie must find and train a likely successor who can end Zephyr's tyranny and aspirations of dominance over the citizens of Moon Valley who strive for peace... a successor named Jason Mysteria.—Anonymous
