The film is about a woman who has lived two very different lives. As a girl, she was known as Tabuchi Kazuko and was often called a monster for her hideous facial features. After leaving her hometown for Tokyo, she got extensive plastic surgery with money earned as a sex industry worker and began a new life as “Suzuhara Miho”, the beautiful owner of a restaurant facing the Seto Inland Sea.
