A little monkey with a big secret.

Pre-teen Frank's Swedish small town family spend their reserves giving his terminally ill kid sister, who loves playing monkey, hence her nickname Monky, a short but happy life. After her death, while unemployed father desperately seeks an income, an actual orange monkey turns up mysteriously. Initially scared Frank soon believes it's Monky's reincarnation, the family follows later, except a meddling aunt, who upsets all plans for a small fun park and claims it's escaped from a zoo, while the family wants to return it to its Thailand home jungle.—KGF Vissers
