Synopsis

Two brothers, Devasenapathy and Ganesha hail from an ashramam. One day, they are recruited by the Chief of Malainaadu Police Force, Chief Pradeep Chen Long. Ganesha is somewhat reluctant, however decides to join the army upon the coaxing of his Teacher. As a result of joining, Ganesha is tasked with a volatile anti-terrorist mission called Mission Sphinx. Ganesha, being a very impulsive person, completes the mission without leaving any traces. This earns the moniker Molotov to Ganesha. That night, Ganesha is assassinated in cold blood by some unknown criminals. This death, shuts down 90 percent of the investigations at the Malainaadu Intelligence Agency.3 Years after Ganesha's death, a new case file with old traces emerges. The MPF is now on high alert, as this operation is timed with pin point accuracy with an ancient event called the Kumbhabhishegam of the Pralayam Kaatha Vinayagar Temple in Malainaadu. Pradeep appoints Deva, knowing that he is the next best person to solve the unsolvable. During this investigation, it is brought to Deva's knowledge that Matthews Nanmugan, an insider from the MIA is currently being hunted by the Yaksha Wolffangs, the biggest weapon trafficking group in Malainaadu. It is during this hunt that, some important revelations happen during the ceremony and the case. These revelations bridge a connection between the origin of the historic Kumbhabhishegam which began 1200 years ago, as well as the meteorology and weather changes that happen during this time.
