Diane Kramer is led by one obsession: to find the driver of the mocha (Moka) color Mercedes which hit her son and devastated her life. With a few belongings, some money and a gun, she goes to Evian, where she's learned the driver lives.

Consumed with endless grief and silent rage over the loss of her teenage son, an unfortunate hit-and-run victim, grieving Diane Kramer summons the courage to take matters into her own hands. As a result, Diane embarks on a challenging mission for answers in Lake Geneva and the spa town of Évian. Armed with a pistol and a graphic but incomplete description of the offending car, the tragic mother soon suspects there's more to this case than meets the eye.
