Makar Ilyushin and Sergey Babkin were hired by the successful businessman Dmitry Silotsky, who was called Lancelot by his friends since his youth. He complains about the effect of "jamais vu": ordinary things and places suddenly began to seem different and strange to him. But since the detectives do not seek to investigate the mental state of the client, he gives them one more task - to find his missing assistant Vladimir Kachkov. Detectives do not really want to do this, especially Babkin, who recognized his first wife as Lancelot's wife. But suddenly Silotsky dies, being blown up on his motorcycle right at the front door of Ilyushin, and unknown men threaten the detectives, demanding to stay away from this case.
