A report from the trial of the 55-year-old Lars Widerström who shot dead the policeman Fredrik Widén in Nyköping denies any crime. The fatal shooting occurred in June 2007, when Widerström was to be picked up by the police to be handed over to mental health care for psychiatric evaluation by Psychiatrist Göran Fransson. In the trial, he must prove his innocence, says his lawyer Peter Althin.—TT/HD
