Two childhood friends, Abdul (Lapid) and Jenny (Miranda) who part ways when Abdul studies at the Philippine Military Academy. Jenny stays in her town where her father works for an evil haciendero who abused his tenants. Jenny is forced to work for the landlord when her father fails to pay his debts. Complications arise when Jenny is raped by the landlord's nephew wich leads to pregnancy. jenny joins a rebel group to avenge the maltreatment to her family and becomes Kumander Tata. Meantime, Abdul is assigned to his hometown and is ordered to capture his childhood friend.
