Summaries

MISSING IN THE OZARKS is a limited series of three episodes filmed over six years. This emotionally charged raw true-crime series takes us on an investigative journey to find the remains of missing murder victim, Angie Yarnell, and to confront the man who killed her. The show exposes corruption, human evil, and the impact a crime can have on an individual when the perpetrator avoids justice. The show, however, also highlights perhaps the strongest force of all; a mother's unconditional love and indomitable fight to find her daughter and get justice as she risks her own life. The narrative is bold and surprising, keeping the audience engaged with an ever-developing storyline as new events emerge and perspectives shift. The show features the mother Marianne Asher-Chapman, witnesses, detectives, grieving family members and a missing persons expert in pursuit of the killer.—Steffen Hou
