A staunch professional executive and his wife coerce their two rebellious teens and their older sister and her boyfriend into taking a plane trip to celebrate their wedding anniversary in the mountains. The younger sister does not make it to the plane in time and the family leaves without her. Their small private plane then develops trouble and crashes in the isolated snowy mountains.
