Zack, a young boy, finds two cocker spaniels caged in the woods and takes them home. The animals, Sissy and Buddy, have magical healing powers that change the people of a small town.

When Zack (Dustin Hunter Evans) and his family move to Hope Springs, he befriends a pair of fuzzy miracles. Zack keeps the two lovable strays hidden in his clubhouse until he gets the idea to bring them to the nursing home where his mom Janine Turner works. It's here that Zack introduces the pups to Captain Pete and other residents and watches the dogs' powerful healing touch change lives.
