"Minds of Terror" is a 2003 direct-to-dvd horror anthology movie; about three sick men who about to show the world what terror really means; hosted by Paula Remele-Rusconi as host "Natasha Nighty".
Three Kansas University students - Karla Terry (Nicole Crawford), her long-haired, goateed brother Robert/Bobby (Patrick McCaffery) and their friend Andy Carlson (Matthew Mazouch) - are on their way to the old Stoneridge psychiatric establishment when their car breaks down. Andy visited the place as a child and claims to have seen ghosts; Karla is a scribe for the student paper who plans to write a story on the spooky old place and Bobby is a snapper for the same publication who wishes his sister would call him Robert (a running gag which quickly becomes tiresome although it does have a pay-off right at the end of the film).—MJ Simpson
Karla, Bobby and Andy are three college kids whose investigations at Stone Ridge Hospital, an abandoned mental asylum, reveal that the building is not quite as abandoned as they expected. Jeffery Vandoren, once a member of the hospital staff, is still living there alone. When the trio find themselves stuck for the night, Vandoren regales them with stories of the dangerous patients who were once incarcerated at Stone Ridge. But Jeffery Vandoren has his own secret history too...
Minds of Terror is an anthology horror film in the tradition of From Beyond the Grave and Trilogy of Terror, featuring Joe Estevez (Beach Babes from Beyond, The Rollerblade Seven), Robyn Griggs (Final Curtain), Eric Spudic (Creepies, Halloween Night) and 1950s sci-fi legend Conrad Brooks.
