A tumultuous father-son relationship escalates after their relocation to a rundown home. The son's determination to restore power awakens an uplifting metamorphosis mirroring a firefly's radiance.

The story deals with a poor boy Kiran, a talented student studying in a local government school. His father is an Auto-rickshaw driver, a drunkard and an irresponsible person. Because of the poor condition Kiran's house does not have electricity. It makes it difficult for him to read and write without light. He struggles very hard to get a power connection to his house. All his efforts are mocked with no positive results. As he is talented he plans to develop a machine that produces electricity. Eventually with lot of efforts he succeeds in developing a power generator. With the help of a Professor his machine is displayed at National Scientific Expo, where Kiran's talent is exposed to the whole world. To suit his needs he invented a small power generator. His invention is a new limelight to the Scientific world.
