I had only one chance. I have to cut off all ties to the conceited, thoroughly corrupt cultural sphere, where everyone, every little crap, was for sale, cut off all ties to the empty TV and newspaper sphere, sit in a room and start reading seriously, not contemporary literature, but literature of the absolute highest quality, and then write as if it were a matter of life and death.
