Follows 17-year-old Maria, a high school senior with dreams of becoming a dancer, whose starry-eyed plans for the future are put on hold when she gets pregnant by her boyfriend Tasos.

In a remote mountain town, 17 year old Maria, a high school senior, dreams of becoming a dancer and living the "Athens dream", away from the suffocating environment in which she grows up. Her dreams come to an abrupt halt when she becomes pregnant by her boyfriend, Tassos. Her family and her friends embrace the unexpected news of her pregnancy, but very quickly, she realizes that the restrictions are growing dangerously high. Her and her best friend, Joe, embark on an adventurous journey on the road to adulthood. Faced with her great dilemma, Maria will find herself between who she really is and what others want her to be.
