A group of college kids meet up with a Podcast filming crew and set out to explore the haunted forest of Crystal Lake to research the legend of Jason Voorhees.

20 years ago a grisly murder occurs, one man's wife and friends are killed by Jason Voorhees, but he was never able to prove it. 20 years later Jason returns from Manhattan to continue his rampage on his home turf. Crossing his path are a group of college kids camping for the weekend and a camera crew looking to capitalize on the legend that is Camp Blood and Jason Voorhees.
