When his father cannot make it home Max is convinced that Christmas will be extremely boring this year. But then Mr. Moose crashes through his roof and he is not so sure anymore. This is a giant talking Moose with a big mouth, a warm hearth and a tendency for drama. He claims he was on a test-run with Santa Claus, lost control over the sleigh and crashed, injuring his leg. And now he has to find Santa Claus, otherwise nobody will receive their Christmas gifts. Is Max able to get Mr. Moose and Santa flying again?—Anonymous
Pre-teen Max fears a dull Christmas as his globetrotter father will be on another continent again, leaving him stuck with mother and snooty nerd sister. Then a talking 'mister' Moose crashes trough the roof into his barn. max hides him, accepting the explanation he was pulling Santa's sled in test ride and must recuperate to rejoin his master in tie for present distribution. Max's kin soon finds out and must help, as grim neighbor Panneman, a staunch hunter, is bound to find out of this chance to add moose antlers to his trophy collection, so mother's charms are needed as diversion. Santa actually comes looking for Moose, but dims his glorified story and opposes the huntsman.—KGF Vissers
