Summaries

Protagonist, the protagonist, must save his friend from the clutches of a brainwashing serial killer and his goons.

An adventure comparable to Homer's "The Odyssey", this story takes the viewer on a wild adventure filled with mishap and mayhem. The story follows the lead protagonist, Protagonist, as he fights his way through a rogue Mexican, a beefed up stoner, and finally the serial killer, Serial Killer, who is behind the kidnapping of his friend, Mr. Ding Dong. That's right, a serial killer who kidnaps people. Can Protagonist reverse the brainwashing? Can he save the day? Can IMDb give us an official page? You will find out in due time.—Mark Williams

Synopsis

Metalloids 2 symbolically opens on a periodic table, an obvious reference to the title; however, the periodic table is then picked up off of a floor and thrown away by a janitor, referencing the lack of actual science in the movie. The cafeteria in which the movie has so far taken place in is seen to be harboring two more individuals. The characters in question are the villainous and chaos-driven, Serial Killer, and his innocent sister, Ms. Killer. Their purpose for being there is for Ms. Killer's son, Robbie Killer, as he is having parent teacher conferences. Serial tells his sister he is willing to do anything for Robbie since the boy lost his father to a land-shark attack. Ms. Killer, upon hearing this, asks if Robby can stay with Serial for a weekend so that the two could bond. Serial agrees to this as he could use an easily persuaded youth to be his partner in crime for a random kidnapping/brainwashing session he wants to have that weekend. As Ms. Killer and Serial leave the cafeteria, the focus switches to the suspicious looking protagonist, Protagonist as he walks down an adjacent hallway towards an unknown goal. He prods the doors of the auditorium for unlocked doors. Protagonist gets a lucky break when two scientists exit through a side door, leaving it conveniently open. The next scene sees Protagonist letting Ding Dong into the auditorium, revealing that they are pulling off a heist as they split up into different directions and search for a target object. Protagonist finally finds it, a baseball signed by Bob Uecker, in the sound booth. From there he sees bandits, likely there for the same purpose, enter the stage through the doors left unlocked. Protagonist sneaks past them and orders Ding Dong to go outside and retrieve their car. Protagonist then goes and dispatches of the now separate bandits in a brutal fight. The scene cuts to Serial walking towards Ding Dong outside the auditorium. Serial decides this lone man will be his random kidnapping/brainwashing victim and promptly picks him up and runs off with Ding Dong over his shoulder. Protagonist leaves the auditorium just in time to see Serial running in his direction. The combined weight of Serial and Ding Dong allows for the kidnapper to charge through and knock down Protagonist. Serial gives him a warning before running off. Pro vows revenge and ironically (in contrast with the next scene) claims, "you can't kill me". The next scene opens up 12 hours after the previous, with Protagonist lying apparently dead in some tall grass in front of Serial Killer. Serial is quickly joined by a body-disposal expert, Brother Morrowick. They drag Protagonist off, shoot him in the gut when it is revealed that he is still alive, and push his once again limp body into a creek running parallel to a set of train tracks. The next few scenes take place 6 hours before the previous scene. In a dark basement, an excited Serial opens the door for yet another Morrowick, this time being Doctor Donald Morrowick. Serial shows the doctor Ding Dong, lying unconscious on a table wearing a straight-jacket and connected to tubes. Serial reveals that the tubes are filling Ding Dong with a mind control drug known as Serialerium. The two villainous experimenters decide it be best to take a break, and as soon as they leave the room, it is revealed that Ding Dong was merely waiting for the right opportunity to escape. He spits out one tube and gets to work undoing the straight-jacket. After removing his restraints and the other tube, Ding Dong hops off the table and looks for an escape route. He is distracted, however, by a singing-fish, which he promptly activates. Serial hears the song from the next room and decides to investigate. Serial and Ding Dong get into a quick scuffle followed by Serial being thrown out of the room. Ding Dong gets out through a basement window, but he does not get very far as the drugs are taking effect. Serial realizes this and takes his time retrieving the sedated and turning Ding Dong, of whom he renames Dong Ding. Soon after this, Protagonist makes a bold entrance, and attempts to get Ding Dong to help him in the ensuing fight against Serial. Instead, Ding Dong knocks pro out with a strike to the back with a pistol grip. The movie now returns to the present as Protagonist crawls out of the creek, wounded and tired. He is still able to approach and stab the still lingering Brother Morrowick, whose vow of silence keeps him from calling out for help. Protagonist makes his way down the tracks, and the wounded Morrowick makes his way to Serial's lab. Upon hearing of Protagonists survival, Serial decides it best if they move their operations between his sister's house, and the house he will be taking in the next hour. Serial also sends Ding Dong to follow Protagonist and report on his movements. Serial then heads out to a house of his choosing in a neighborhood known for its stoners. The stoners will sway the suspicion of any law enforcement investigating violent crimes in the area, and will also provide an over trusting pool of potential victims whose cannabis can be robbed so as to pay Robby, who will only work for weed. Serial enters the "perfect" home and kills all of the residents. After securing his new territory, the scene cuts to a new character walking along the same tracks as Protagonist. The new character is Pablo Ravís, a Mexican illegal and suspected drug smuggler is looking for the missing items from his dufflebag, the same dufflebag that Protagonist looted earlier in the film. Protagonist sees him and asks for directions; however, Pablo is just as confused by his surroundings as Protagonist is, and is thus unable to assist him. Pablo then asks Protagonist if he has a lighter that he can use for his cigarette. Protagonist pulls out the lighter taken from the previously mentioned bag, and then Pablo's demeanor changes from one of thanks, to one of hate. As Protagonists walks away with the item, Pablo chucks a glue bottle at him, knocking him to the ground. They engage in a fight that ends with Protagonist on top and Pablo barely surviving. The next scene has Serial luring and killing a stoner, and while he disposes of the body, Robby appears on screen for the first time. Robby is disinterested in helping his uncle, not because of any morality issue, but because there seems to be nothing in it for him. Serial offers all of his dead neighbor's cannabis and Robby finally agrees to help. The focus returns to Protagonist as he separates from the train tracks and goes up a woodland trail to a parking lot. As the previously mentioned events unfold, he is being followed by a cleverly disguised Mr. Dong Ding whom he either does not notice or recognize. Protagonist finds a car in the lot he wants to steal. He is caught in the act, however, by one of the Morrowick Brothers, mob boss "The Don" Morrowick. Protagonist initially gains the upper hand in the struggle before Morrowick reveals his hidden AK-47. Pro gets into the driver's seat unscathed and drives to drive off even as Morrowick jumps onto the hood. Morrowick winds up informing Protagonist that the car was a gift he received from his mother. Protagonist decided to give up the fight and to return the vehicle to Morrowick. During the transaction, Protagonist gives Morrowick the reason why he needs the vehicle, to save his best friend, and in turn he gains the mobster's sympathy. Morrowick lends him the car and Protagonist takes off for the next step in his mission. Meanwhile, Dong Ding sleeps in the woods nearby and is stumbled upon by Pablo, who is apparently searching for Protagonist. Dong Ding meets him and calls Serial, who is excited about taking on new members to his free-style death-cult. Serial, Robby, Pablo, and Dong Ding all meet at Ms. Killer's house. Protagonist discovers their location and silently knocks out Pablo. He is then spotted by Robby and a one on one fight breaks out between the two as Dong Ding and Serial watch. Robby gains the upper hand and knocks out Protagonist. Serial has the unconscious hero taken to his basement where he is restrained and imprisoned next to Vlad Mendeleev. Serial reveals that it was Vlad who made the Serialerium as a new element so as to emulate his ancestor and creator of the periodic table, Dmitri Mendeleev. In the end, the drug was found to be a perfect mind control agent. Serial, to satiate his thirst for dramatic irony, decides to place the cure only feet from them while he has Dong Ding come in and butcher them. Serial leaves the three alone, which allows Protagonist to trick Dong Ding into thinking that the cure-pills are Smarties, which even his brainwashed friend can not resist. Dong Ding eats the cure, which transforms him back into the original Mr. Ding Dong, who cuts the heroes free. The trio then separate to find their evil counterparts. Vlad engages Serial in a sword fight, Ding Dong gets into a foot chase with Pablo, and Protagonist waits for Robby to come out from wherever he is hiding. All of these events result in fighting with a wide array of weapons. Ding Dong shoots and kills Pablo in a duel with a banana, Protagonist breaks Robby's throat with an asp-baton, and Protagonist also saves Vlad by tackling Serial into a pool. Serial questions Protagonist's hero-bravado mindset and Protagonist confirms that he does believe himself a hero. Protagonist then strangles Serial with the lace of his own Boonie-hat. The heroes all emerge victorious and the film story skips ahead one year. Protagonist is teaching an AP Treasure Hunting course when he breaks down and kicks all the kids out of the class, regretting his career choice. Out of the blue, though, a masked, time-traveling bounty hunter by the name of Randy M. Guy appears and gives Protagonist a letter. Protagonist reads it and inquires on Randy's background. Randy gives up very little info and disappears into the hallway. Protagonist grabs his adventure gear and leaves the classroom. The letter is finally shown to the camera and has one vague message, "come find me if you want Mendeleev alive". Protagonist then walks alongside the outside of the building and calls Mr. Ding Dong, simply telling him that they have a new objective, and thus ending the film.
